Our seven-day tour of Botswana and neighboring Zambia starts in the Victoria Falls, where the mile-wide Zambezi River tumbles 104 meters over a black basalt ridge. Undeniably stunning but nothing beats the adrenaline rush you'll get from seeing big cats and bigger elephants at Chobe N. P.. In Chobe, witness vast elephant herds—some nearly 200 strong—gathering to bathe in Kings Pool, watch from your jeep as lion prides feast on buffalo kill or as cheetah cubs learn to stalk prey. From Chobe, hop a plane to Okavango, legendary for its game viewing. Lions, leopards, cheetahs, white rhinos, and elephants all wander the floodplane beneath your camp's elevated bungalows. There, accompanied by your local Tswana guide, you'll travel by mokoro, a dugout canoe navigated by a long pole, through dense thickets of papyrus and past radiant malachite kingfishers, crocodiles, and hippos or join the guides at your lodge for an open-air jeep tour through the delta.
Cambodia was once the home of the powerful Khmer kingdom, and to this day, the country dazzles with its timeless architectural treasures. Perhaps none is quite as grand as Angkor Wat, the sprawling complex considered the heart of Cambodia.
Three whole days are spent exploring the maze of architectural masterpieces in the area of Angkor, a UNESCO Heritage and the ancient capital of the Khmer kings and which is reputed to have the greatest concentration of religious monuments in the world. Over 500 temples, many still in the grip of impenetrable jungle, reveal an advanced culture to rival any other of the era. The legacy of Cambodia's artistic past can still be seen in the handicrafts and silverware found in the bustling markets of Phnom Penh, a capital city in the midst of reinventing itself.
Discover Cambodia in the company of a local guide who possesses intimate knowledge of the history of this magnificent country.
Bhutan is perhaps the most pristine of all remote lands in this world. Surrounded by high mountains, following a culture that is strange and interesting, ruled over by a king, protected by Druk Yul, the thunder dragon, the country still retains a flavour of the past. As you walk on the streets, view the deep green hills, see the dances and the festivals, and talk to the people, you feel that this place is somehow different, more precious, perhaps the Shangri-La of James Hilton.
Precariously placed buildings, large palaces, stone work, the painting tradition of the Bhutanese people, and the sense of being one of the few who come to this Himalayan kingdom adds magic to this trip.

In Bali you will find a splash of colour and a piece of heaven. It's the point where two worlds collide: the world of spirits, demons, temples and legends, and the world of designer boutiques, mixologists, celebrity chefs, world-class DJs. You will also find some of the world's finest and most interesting places to stay. Go for Bali’s diverse landscapes: beaches from sootiest black to sugar gold; rapidly-flowing streams; bright perilously narrow paddy fields carved into hillsides; volcanoes that pierce the clouds. Whether you’re a beach bunny or a temple collector, you’ll find it all on the Island of The Gods. You can experience Bali on our huge selection of excursions and privately guided tours.
Costa Rica's landscape varies from cloudforest to tropical beaches, volcanoes to white water rivers. Leaving the coast you head up to the distinctly cooler highlands. Here you will have an opportunity to go in search of the elusive quetzal. You will visit La Fortuna del Arenal and the Arenal, one of the most active volcanoes in the world before continuing to Sarapiqui. Here you will experience the sounds of the rainforest and the beautiful hummingbird. Afterwards head to Rincon de la Vieja National Park - famous for its volcano and waterfalls. Our tours are a potent mix of activity, adventure, scenery and wildlife, with time to relax on the Pacific coast.
On our trips you'll learn the essential meaning of the country's motto, Pura Vida - "Pure Life."
The attractions are obvious enough. Firstly, the beaches: soft white sand, bright turquoise waters, astonishing marine life, and a backcloth of swaying palms and dramatic cliffs. Secondly, the cities: colourful temples, bustling markets, funky bars, mouth-watering food-stalls and swish boutiques. Thirdly, the lush hills and rainforests of the north are prime trekking terrain, with hill-tribes, elephant rides and rafting on offer. These 3 in combination make Thailand a something-for-everyone paradise. But there's more to it than that. Perhaps it's the Thai people - unrushed, helpful, calm and they really can smile. Or meeting other travellers and swopping life-stories en route. And let's not forget the food: achingly fresh fish and prawns, spicy curries, exotic fruit, veggie stir-fries. Plus, of course, in comparison to much of the world it's still ridiculously cheap - though some parts are going upmarket. Whatever it is, it's certainly addictive. Join the club!
